如何深入大藏經?學習佛法三藏建議

學佛必讀三藏,依大正藏分:

A.、《大正藏》:

Must-read Tripitaka for learning Buddhism, categorized according to the Taisho Tripitaka:

A. Taisho Tripitaka:
[Agama Section]: The Five Agamas (including the Separate Translation of the Samyukta Agama, though scholars have differing views).
[Jataka/Avadana Section]: Karunapundarika Sutra, Bodhisattva Jatakamala, Buddhacarita, Lalitavistara Sutra, Udānavarga, Arthapada Sutra, Dhammapada.
     [Prajna Section]: Complete.
[Lotus Section]: Saddharmapundarika Sutra (Lotus Sutra), etc.
[Avatamsaka Section]: Three different versions of the Avatamsaka Sutra (40, 60, and 80 fascicles, primarily focusing on the 80-fascicle version).
[Ratnakuta Section]: Maharatnakuta Sutra (Madhyamaka and Yogacara place special emphasis on this sutra).
[Nirvana Section]: The 40 and 36-fascicle versions of the Mahaparinirvana Sutra (the Buddha-nature discussed in this sutra must be cross-referenced with treatises by Yogacara masters like Master Huizhao to avoid misunderstanding). Minor sutras such as the Sutra on the Buddha's Prediction of the Dharma's Demise can also be read.
[Mahasamnipata Section]: The 60-fascicle version of the Mahavaipulya Mahasamnipata Sutra (including the Suryagarbha and Candragarbha sections). Other sutras like the Aksayamati-nirdesa Sutra and Akasagarbha Sutra are mostly included in this sutra.
[Sutra Compilation Section]: Primarily focusing on texts related to Samatha-Vipasyana, Samadhi Sutras, Samdhinirmocana Sutra, Golden Light Sutra, etc.
[Esoteric Section]: Mahavairocana Sutra, etc., best read in conjunction with the Commentary on the Mahavairocana Sutra. Esoteric lineages have diverse opinions, but using the [Four Noble Truths] as the basis for discerning all dharmas is the most reliable reference.
[Vinaya Section]: The Five Precepts for laity, and Bodhisattva Precepts. Regarding the monastic Vinaya, according to Chinese traditions, one can only read them after ordination. However, whether one can study them deeply if they aspire to ordain, or even as a layperson to prevent monastics from violating the precepts, has many different interpretations. If permissible, I personally believe the Dharmaguptaka Vinaya (Four-Part Vinaya), Mahisasaka Vinaya (Five-Part Vinaya), and Mulasarvastivada Vinaya should all be studied deeply.
     [Sutra Explanation Section]: Complete.
     [Abhidharma Section] (Four volumes): Complete.
     [Madhyamaka Section]: Complete.
     [Yogacara Section]: Complete.
[Treatise Compilation Section]: Complete. For the Hetuvidya (Logic) part, one can read it alongside the great commentary by Master Kuiji and works on Hetuvidya and Yogacara by the Japanese Master Zenju.
[Sutra Commentary Section]: Primarily works by Masters Zhiyi, Jizang, Kuiji, and Huizhao.
[Treatise Commentary Section]: Abhidharmakosa, Vijnaptimatra (Consciousness-Only), and Hetuvidya (Logic).
[Sectarian Works Section]: Primarily works by Masters Zhiyi, Jizang, Kuiji, and Huizhao. Additionally, treatises from the Pure Land school can be referenced. For the Chan (Zen) School, besides the Transmission of the Lamp and the Blue Cliff Record, some recorded sayings can be read depending on one's karmic affinity. The 100-fascicle Zongjing Lu (Record of the Source Mirror) is also a good reference, as it attempts to harmonize Tiantai, Chan, and Yogacara. However, from a contemporary perspective, some contents differ from what Tripitaka Master Xuanzang transmitted; the Zongjing Lu and the Chan School still emphasize the "true mind" (Tathagatagarbha) theory.
[History and Biography Section]: Nandimitravadana, Samayabhedoparacanacakra, Treatise on the Eighteen Schools, Treatise on the Differentiations of the Schools. Additionally, biographies of various masters can be read if time permits.
[Encyclopedia Section]: The 100-fascicle Fayuan Zhulin (Pearl Forest of the Dharma Garden). This text compiles everything from the formation of the universe to the five aggregates, all dharmas, and the dharmas of humans and devas, mostly quoting original sutras and treatises, along with worldly historical books. It was compiled by Sramana Shi Daoshi of Ximing Temple and published by Zhonghua Book Company. Studying the Sanskrit parts depends on individual capacity.
[Non-Buddhist Teachings Section]: Suvarnasaptati (Golden Seventy Treatise/Samkhya-karika), Dasapadartha Sastra (Vaisesika).
[Catalog Section]: Chu Sanzang Jiji (Collection of Records concerning the Tripitaka).
[Ancient Manuscripts Section]: Commentaries on Prajna, Yogacara, etc., depending on one's karmic affinity.
[Apocryphal/Doubtful Texts Section]: Read if you have time. Texts like the High King Avalokitesvara Sutra or the Sutra of the Great Universal Vaipulya Repentance are often sponsored and published by new religious groups. Once you have a profound understanding of the Tripitaka, you will know their nature upon comparison.

The Japanese section in the Taisho Tripitaka: As written on the website, primarily focuses on Kusha (Abhidharma), Yogacara, Sanlun (Madhyamaka), and Hetuvidya.
